A group of seventeen young ladies came together in September of 2002, with the help of head coach Sabrina Uribe-Ventrella and coach Crystal Uribe, to skate as a team named the Rose City Crystals. The young ladies, ranging between the ages of seven and fourteen, practiced every Friday night for an hour, and that is how this team got started.
The members of the Rose City Crystals have shown the desire, determination, and discipline to succeed and be the best. They recently qualified to go to the USFS national level Synchronized Skating Championships and placed twelfth in the nation. They have been awarded three gold medals at the ISI Worlds, and have been recognized by Los Angeles Supervisor Michael Antonovich and Pasadena Councilman Steve Madison. This Synchronized Skating team is dedicated to promoting positive teamwork, sportsmanship, and jointly helping one another to reach our team's potential. Our organization comprised of skaters, coaches, and parents collectively embodies this philosophy to bring forth a great skating experience. |
